Wolf Pack softball rally falls short

Despite three runs in the final inning, the University of Nevada softball team fell 6-4 to Fresno State in its first-ever Mountain West game on Thursday in Fresno, Calif.. The loss dropped the Wolf Pack to 20-14 (0-1 MWC), while the Bulldogs improved to 20-14 (1-0 MWC). Trailing 6-1 entering the seventh inning, Nevada got a lead-off triple from Chelsea Barilli and a single from Karley Hopkins to score Barilli.
