After departures, Renown focuses on collaboration

RENO — Rocked by the dismissal of four of its top executives, Renown Health will focus on restoring its relationships with Northern Nevada physicians. “This is a critical piece,” said David Line, chairman of the Renown Health board. “We need to become a physician-centric organization.” Renown, the largest hospital and health care organization in Northern Nevada, said Tuesday that it parted ways with longtime Chief Executive Officer Jim Miller, who was at the center of troubled acquisitions of cardiology practices by Renown.
