Wilke to serve as school board president

Stacie Wilke, who is serving her second stint on the Carson City School board, was elected unanimously Tuesday to serve as president. “I’m looking forward to this adventure,” she said. Wilke, a 1983 Carson High School graduate, was appointed to the board in 2009 to replace Joe Enge, who resigned. She then was elected in 2010. She served last year as vice president and previously served on the board from 1998-2002.
