The chance to hear from Holocaust survivors and World War II veterans who took part in liberation missions is being offered April 25.

Holocaust Remembrance: Survivors & Liberators, a free event to honor those whose lives were altered by the Holocaust, is being presented by Honor Flight Nevada, UNR's Osher Lifelong Learning Institute and other veterans organizations.

The event from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. at the Atlantis Casino Resort Spa in Reno will include opening remarks from Gov. Brian Sandoval and Jon Yuspa, founder and CEO of Honor Flight Nevada, plus a question and answer session.

Light refreshments will be served at a reception before the discussion.
