A Carson City man faces life in prison after a jury convicted him of methamphetamine trafficking. Jose Garcia-Gaona, 36, was charged with trafficking after a tow yard worker, who was asked to look in Garcia-Gaona’s impounded Honda Accord for a prescription, found instead a pound of methamphetamine and two baggies of cocaine. Jurors found Garcia-Gaona guilty in Carson City District Court on Thursday of one count of trafficking, which carries a sentence of up to life in prison, and two counts of possession of a controlled substance, according to the District Attorney’s Office.
