A crash Wednesday afternoon sent the two drivers to the hospital in Reno via helicopter with non-life threatening injuries.
The crash shut down Carson Street to one lane at Colorado street. It was called in at 3:27 p.m., Nevada Highway Patrol Trooper Barbara Stapleton said. The road was completely reopened at 4:50 p.m. According to Stapleton, a gold Subarau Forester pulled out in front of a blue Ford Focus while attempting to turn right onto South Carson Street from Colorado Street. The Focus was in the middle lane and the Subaru made a very wide right turn, causing the crash. Three passengers in the Subaru suffered no injuries and the single passenger in the Ford suffered no injuries.
