Leatrice Drew, 82, of Dayton, has been identified as the woman killed during a single vehicle rollover in Carson City on Saturday morning.
The Nevada Highway Patrol says a 2009 White Nissan Versa driven by 83-year-old Dayton resident Daniel Drew was traveling westbound on Highway 50 in the right lane when for unknown reasons the vehicle drove off the roadway and onto the north dirt shoulder. It is unclear if the Drews were wearing their seatbelts properly before the accident.
Alcohol or drugs are not a factor at this time. The accident is still under investigation. That area of the highway is two lanes in each direction with a center turn lane. The speed limit is 45 mph.
