Man arrested on attempted burglary, says Carson City Sheriff’s Office

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.

WEDNESDAY

At 8:03 a.m., a 38-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of failure to appear after deputies conducted a warrant service near the 300 block of south Carson Meadows Drive. Bail was set at $955.

At 9:32 a.m., a 38-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of domestic battery near Kit Sierra Loop. Bail was set at $3,000.

At 6:40 p.m., a 30-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of violation of a temporary protection order and injury to a motor vehicle after deputies responded to reports of a domestic dispute near the 400 block of Park Street. Bail was set at $3,500.

At 8:24 p.m., Robert White, 56, a transient, was arrested on suspicion of felony attempted burglary, attempted petit larceny and convicted person failed to register after deputies responded to reports of a theft at the William Street Smith's. Bail was set at $2,900.

At 9:49 p.m., an 18-year-old Reno woman was arrested on suspicion of battery on a peace officer, DUI, minor consuming and driving on a suspended license after deputies responded to reports of an intoxicated driver at the North Carson Street AM/PM gas station. Bail was set at $4,150.

At 10:25 p.m., a 29-year-old Long Beach, Calif., man was arrested on suspicion of domestic battery warrant after deputies responded to reports of a subject with a weapon near the 2900 block of Menlo Drive. Bail was set at $3,000.

THURSDAY

At 2:54 a.m., Sally Whooley, 44, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony escaped prisoner warrant and obstruction after deputies conducted a pedestrian stop near Menlo Drive and Ashby Court. Bail was set at $300.

The Nevada Appeal only names people arrested on suspicion of felonies and violent crimes. Carson City Secret Witness will pay up to $2,500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of individuals committing crimes. Anyone with information is asked to call 775-322-4900.
