Shaheen Beauchamp contractor for Carson City’s proposed Vintage at Kings Canyon

The Vintage at Kings Canyon is a proposed 80-acre planned unit development on Andersen Ranch located on either side of Ormsby Boulevard on Carson City’s westside.

Shaheen Beauchamp Builders LLC has been chosen as the general contractor for the proposed Vintage at Kings Canyon development, according to a letter submitted to the Carson City Board of Supervisors.

The letter, signed by Jeff Shaheen, co-owner of the Carson City construction company, was written in support of the project and in anticipation of the board's upcoming vote on it Thursday.

"In the interest of full disclosure, Shaheen Beauchamp Builders has a vested interest in seeing the project approved as we have been selected as the general contractor by the developer. We are appreciative and grateful to be a member of the construction team and look to add this project to our resume," the letter reads.

Shaheen goes onto outline what he says are the benefits to the city, including positive property tax impact, construction jobs and a commitment to use local subcontractors.

Shaheen Beauchamp was founded in 1998 by Shaheen and Mark Beauchamp.

Among its many projects in Carson City are the Harley Davidson building, St. Teresa of Avila Church, and the Carson Medical Group office.
