A blanket-wrapped body found Saturday morning in the Carson River has been identified as that of the missing chief insurance examiner, who was reported missing April 4. The body was identified as William McCune’s after dental records and X-rays were sent by his next of kin, identified as an ex-wife, a daughter and a son, Carson City Undersheriff Steve Albertsen said. The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office found his missing pickup, a maroon 2000 Dodge Dakota, Monday afternoon.
