Aces nipped by Salt Lake; ready for home opener

SALT LAKE CITY — Brad Snyder extended his season hitting streak to eight games, but the Aces fell 6-4 against the Salt Lake Bees on Thursday night in the finale of a four-game series, and an eight game road trip. With the loss, the Aces fell to 3-5 on the season, while the Bees improved to 6-2. A two-run double by Kila Ka’aihue gave Reno a 2-0 lead in the top of the first, but the Bees countered with four runs of their own in the bottom of the frame.
