Nevada men’s hoops inks 2 recruits

RENO — University of Nevada head men’s basketball coach David Carter announced Thursday that AJ West and Lucas Stivrins have signed National Letters of Intent to play for the Wolf Pack. Both big men will join the Pack for the 2013-14 season. West will be a junior next season and played this season at Monroe College in New Rochelle, N.Y. He helped the Mustangs post a 24-8 record. The 6-foot, 9-inch, 230-pound center averaged 10.9 points, 8.9 rebounds and a nations best 5.1 blocks per game. Three times he recorded 10 or more blocks in a game and 11 times …
