Dr. Sandra Sheldon officially became the Churchill County School District’s new superintendent Thursday night after a two-year contract was approved by trustees during their regularly scheduled meeting. Sheldon agreed to terms of a two-year deal that allows for the extention of one more year after she is evaluated by the school board in April 2014. Sheldon will receive an annual salary of $125,000 under a 260-day working contract.
