Tacoma slips past Aces

TACOMA, Wash. — The Reno Aces lost a back-and-forth affair to the Tacoma Rainiers on Sunday, as the club fell 6-5 in game three of the series at Cheney Stadium. After the Rainiers jumped to an early 3-0 lead in the bottom of the first, the Aces pushed across a run on three different plays in the top of the third to briefly tie the game.
