Reno boxer Carlos Gaytan is in stable condition after suffering head trauma during the sixth annual Fallon Fights on Aug. 24 at the Churchill County Fairgrounds. According to promoter Terry Lane of Let’s Get It On Promotions, Gaytan was sedated for nearly two weeks after doctors discovered blood on his brain. Gaytan was knocked down in the second round of his bout, but fought for another two rounds before the fight was stopped.
