Youth gridders continue winning ways

Fallon’s Sierra Youth Football League teams continued its winning trend on Saturday in Reno and Fallon. Fallon’s Bandits team defeated Wooster by two touchdowns, 18-6, for its second win (2-3) of the season, while the Mavericks club blanked Reno, 12-0. Fallon improved to 4-1 in the Mavericks division and is a game out of first place behind McQueen, which it will face Saturday at noon at Reno High School. The Bandits team is on a bye. Fallon also shut out Wooster, 27-0, in the Renegades division to stay undefeated at 5-0 as it enters a bye week. The Freshman team, …
