November is Adopt-a-Senior-Pet month

November is the “official” Adopt-a-Senior-Pet month. You may be wondering just what the age of a senior dog or cat is. According to most veterinarians, dogs start entering their golden years at seven years of age. However, smaller breeds of dogs live longer than larger breeds, so the smaller the dog, the later in life he becomes a senior.
