A former supervisor and a former city-county planner, as well as three projects, won recognition from the Carson City Historic Resources Commission. The Thursday HRC action will lead to public recognition by the Board of Supervisors in April, according to City Planner Lee Plemel, who identified Shelly Aldean and Jennifer Pruitt as the people winning the awards given annually to projects or persons for outstanding achievements in historic preservation.
