Retired Nevada Supreme Court Chief Justice Robert Rose was seriously injured Monday morning in a single vehicle rollover west of Fallon. The accident happened shortly after 7:30 a.m. near the intersection of U.S. Highway 50 and York Lane. Churchill County Sheriff deputies on the scene said Rose was eastbound and apparently lost control of his Nissan Pathfinder. Witnesses said the vehicle went airborne, rolled several times and hit a “dead” power pole, one that is not hooked up with electrical lines.
