The Churchill County School District’s search for a new superintendent has been narrowed to three. Edna LaMarca, Jose Delfin and Sandra Sheldon were selected as the three superintendent finalists by trustees Thursday night during their regularly scheduled meeting. LaMarca, a 1970 Churchill County High School graduate, taught elementary and junior high school before serving as principal for Gerlach High School/Middle School and E.M. Johnson Elementary School from 2008-11; and as principal of Hawthorne Elementary/Junior High School, Primary School and Mina School in Mineral County from 1998-2000.
