The Nevada Bell rates increase from $9.20 a month to $15.25. According to Consumer Advocate Jim Wellinghoff the basic flat rate for residential service in Reno-Carson will jump 65 percent and business, 44 percent. The cost of a pay phone will go from 15 cents to 25 cents.
