Water orders for the Carson Division are likely to cease by Tuesday, according to the Truckee-Carson Irrigation District Board of the Directors.
The board met Monday for its regularly scheduled monthly meeting.
According to the TCID website, storage at Lahontan Reservoir is at 10,909 acre-feet, but a rash of orders over the weekend and more expected Monday will likely end the water season.
In May, the board voted for a 75 percent allocation for Carson water users and a cutoff of 4,000 acre-feet at Lahontan Reservoir. At last month’s meeting, the board figured they had enough water to reach October.
