Carson City Sheriff’s Log: Man arrested after shooting in Carson River area

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:
At 2:34 p.m., a 32-year-old Carson man was arrested on charges of obstructing an officer, violating probation by consuming alcohol and failing to register as an ex-felon. The arrest occurred after deputies were called to an apartment on Long Street. The suspect reportedly fled and was caught in the 1100 block of Corbett Street. Bail was set at $3,650.
At 10:17 p.m., a 21-year-old Carson man was arrested in the Menlo Drive/Ashby Court area following a traffic stop. He was charged with DUI-first offense and contempt of court. Bail was set at $1,500.

At 5:04 a.m., Dustin Lalo of Carson City was arrested at the Gold Dust West after security worker reported a domestic battery. He allegedly accused the woman, his girlfriend, of stealing money and punched and kicked her several times. He was also charged with violating a suspended sentence condition of not using alcohol. Total bail was set at $4,000.
At 9:50 a.m., Jesse Sills-Teran, 26, was arrested after deputies investigated a report of someone shooting in a congested hiking area along the Carson River. He was charged with two felonies: being an ex-felon in possession of a firearm and possession of methamphetamine, plus misdemeanor counts of possessing drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana. He was also charged with discharging a firearm and discharging a firearm in a prohibited area. Total tail was set at $27,500.
At 6:03 p.m., a 49-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on a battery count after reportedly kicking a Carson-Tahoe hospital emergency room nurse who was trying to insert an IV line in her arm. Bail was set at $3,000.
At 11:48 p.m., a Carson City man was arrested in the 4300 block of South Carson Street on a count of disorderly conduct after reportedly being belligerent to other customers in the bar. Bail was set at $150.
At 9:05 p.m., a 43-year-old Carson City man was arrested on outstanding warrants after being stopped at Robinson and Drew streets for driving without his headlights on. Dispatch found an outstanding traffic warrant, and he was driving on a suspended license. Bail was set at $1,756.
At 10:35 p.m., a 21-year-old Carson man was arrested following a traffic stop at U.S. Highway 50 and Airport Road. The driver was a teen he recently sold the vehicle to. He showed up to clarify the ownership of the sedan, and dispatch reported he had an outstanding warrant for failure to appear on a traffic citation. Bail was set at $190. The teen was released to a parent and the vehicle impounded.
At 10:40 p.m., deputies responding to a reported domestic battery in the 1400 block of North Carson Street and arrested a man on two outstanding warrants issued by Sparks Justice Court. Bail was set at $1,500.
At 11:48 p.m., a 30-year-old Yerington man was arrested at Stewart and Telegraph streets on a felony charge of parole violation. He was ordered held without bail.
