Carson City Sheriff’s Log: Man arrested on suspicion of DUI, pot possession

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:
• 2:07 a.m.: A 23-year-old Carson City man was arrested in the 200 block of East Long Street on suspicion of obstruction/resisting. According to his arrest report, deputies showed up on a report of domestic battery, and the man ran from them twice. Bail was set at $300.
• 2:37 a.m.: A 28-year-old Carson City man was arrested in the 1500 block of North Curry Street on a violation-of-a-suspended-sentence warrant. Bail was set at $3,000.
• 11:57 p.m.: Antonio Garnica Rodriguez Jr., 23, of Stockton, Calif., was arrested at South Stewart and East Ninth streets on suspicion of DUI-first offense, failure to maintain lane and possession of less than an ounce of marijuana. According to his arrest report, a deputy pulled Rodriguez over after seeing him fail to maintain a lane, and his blood-alcohol level was 0.10. The deputy reportedly found two plastic baggies containing marijuana in Rodriguez’s vehicle. Bail was set at $1,640.
The Nevada Appeal only names people arrested on suspicion of felonies, violent crimes and DUIs.
