Carson City Sheriff’s Log: Man arrested on three Carson City warrants

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:
10:25 p.m.: A 35-year-old Carson City man was arrested in the 1600 block of East William Street on contempt-of-court, violation-of-pretrial and petit-larceny warrants out of Carson City. According to the man's arrest report, a Special Enforcement Team sergeant was patrolling in the area and recognized him because he had warrants. The man reportedly ran several feet and yelled, then laid on the ground as instructed. Total bail was set at $3,900.
3:31 p.m.: A 24-year-old Carson City woman was arrested in the 1900 block of East Long Street on a failure-to-appear/traffic warrant out of Carson City. According to the woman's arrest report, a Special Enforcement Team deputy stopped after seeing her talking on her cellphone. She reportedly asked that the deputy allow her sister to recover her vehicle and child; the request was granted. Bail was set at $215.
