Carson High School senior collecting hygiene products for local homeless children

Mia Brozovich is asking the community to come together to help local homeless children in need as part of her senior project at Carson High School.

Brozovich is holding a donation drive to collective plastic bas and hygiene supplies to be distributed to homeless children in the Carson City area.

The drive is taking place from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 12 at Carson High School, 1111 N. Saliman Road.

Items being collected include: full size toothpaste; toothbrushes; dental floss; sandwich bags; knit caps and gloves; plastic cups; wash cloths; gallon size Ziplock bags; full size shampoo, conditioner and body wash; travel size Kleenex; bars of soap and hand warmers.
