Carson City Health Department’s food-service inspections for Oct. 25. All scores are on a 100-point scale, with points deducted depending on the severity of violations:• Carson Nugget Bakery, 507 N. Carson St., scored 100 points.• Carson Nugget Banquet Kitchen, 507 N. Carson St., scored 100 points.• Carson Nugget Show Bar, 507 N. Carson St., scored 98 points. The hand sink inside the bar is not draining properly and is blocked with a strainer. Currently, staff is using the hand sink for wait staff located outside of the bar. The drain hose is not connected to the speed gun holster. Floors need cleaning in the hard to access areas under equipment. The floor in the chemical cabinet is dirty with black grime and broken glass.• Carson Nugget Cork & Bottle, 507 N. Carson St., scored 99 points. The inside bottom shelf of the reach-in (at the entrance to the bar) needs cleaning to remove liquid build-up.• Carson Nugget Garden Cafe, 507 N. Carson St., scored 98 points. Found the cold dessert case at the front service counter and reach-in number 5 in the kitchen not holding an ambient temperature of at lest 40 degrees. The butter blend storage container is filled too high on the service line and the top portion of the food is above 40 degrees.• Carson Nugget Le Nouget, 507 N. Carson St., scored 100 points.• Carson Nugget Main Kitchen, 507 N. Carson St., scored 97 points. The paper towels at the hand sink are not in a dispenser.• Carson Nugget Snack Bar, 507 N. Carson St., scored 99 points. Found ice scoop with handle laying in the customer ice, corrected on site.
