Comstock Mobile Village hosting craft fair
The Comstock Mobile Village will host a craft, jewelry and rummage sale from 7:30 a.m. -1:30 p.m. Nov. 12. The sale will feature a variety of items for sale, baked good and free coffee. Comstock Mobile Village is located at 2601 College Pkwy., across from airport entrance. Call 775-884-0436.
Sierra Lutheran sponsoring buss trip to college fair
Sierra Lutheran High School is sponsoring a free bus trip for middle school students and parents to attend the Western Association for College Admissions Counseling Regional College Fair Nov. 6 at the University of Nevada, Reno.
The SLHS college planning department is offering middle school students, who are accompanied by a parent, the opportunity to take a complimentary bus trip to this unique fair that is expected to draw close to 70 colleges and universities from across the country.
The WACAC Fair will run from 12-4 p.m. at the Joe Crowley Student Union, 1664 North Virginia St., Reno. The bus will leave SLHS at 11 a.m. and is scheduled to return at 5 p.m.
Space is limited, to reserve a seat call 775-267-1921. Sierra Lutheran is located at 3601 Romans Road, Carson City, next to Hilltop Church and Fire Station No. 12.
CHS vball team hosting fundraiser
The Carson High volleyball team is hosting a fundraiser from 5-8 p.m. today at Applebee’s, 3300 S. Carson St. Bring in a flier and dine, 15 percent of proceeds will be donated for Carson High volleyball program. Call 775-283-1766.
