The film industry spent more than $6 million in Nevada in 1982… The Clint Eastwood Depression-era movie, “Honky Tonk Man,” brought $1 million into Nevada when it was made in Genoa, Dayton and Carson City. Other films made in Nevada include, “Operation Overkill,” “The Man from Uncle II,” “Breathless” and “Honey Boy.”

The Carson City Bridge Center Club may need to find a new clubhouse. Club members, mostly senior-aged, found an inexpensive place in an industrial park and had no idea they were violating city zoning codes..
