Donald Chester Clendenon

Donald Chester Clendenon Preceded in death by his parents, Chester and Ruth Clendenon, as well as his older brothers Ray and Ross and his older sister Hazel, Donald Clendenon succumbed to natural causes at the age of 97. He was born February 3, 1917, and passed away April 17, 2014, quietly, without distress in the presence of his beloved wife of 76 years, Virginia Clendenon, and many who loved him. In addition to his wife, he is also survived by his younger brother: Luther Clendenon of Aloha Oregon; 3 children: Judy of Lincoln City, Oregon, and Brian and Kirby Clendenon of Caldwell, Idaho; 7 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren. He successfully held the titles of portrait photographer, printer, chemist, surveyor, school board member, Civil Engineer, and President of the American Society of Civil Engineers, Nevada Chapter; and yet his formal education ended with high school. A memorial for Don will be held at the Caldwell Seventh-day Adventist Church on June 21, 2014 at 3:30 pm. A more detailed biography of his interesting life can be viewed at
