Colonel Curry desires it to be stated that the corner stone of the new Rosser Buildings will be laid with such appropriate ceremonies as may be conjured up by the gifted orators, clergymen, judges and literary men. At 3 p.m. this afternoon, this touching ceremony takes place.

The Board of City Trustees met Friday, April 13 to consider the propriety of public attendance of funerals in cases of persons who died of scarlet fever. Drs. White and Smart were present. The board prohibited public display of persons who have died of scarlet fever, not prevalent in Carson City.
