Jack Kiernan passed away March 26, 2013 in Carson City, Nv. at the age of 74 after a long illness following a stroke suffered in May of 2007. He was born in Windham, N.H. to John and Mildred Kiernan June 5, 1938. He attended school in Milford and Manchester, N.H. He worked for the Milford Police Dept. before going to work for Hitchiner Mfq. Co. His field of work was in investment casting. He lived for several years in Camarillo, Ca. while working for Coast Cast in Van Nuys, Ca. He has spent the past 21 years in Carson City, Nv. and worked for Lynx Golf Co. then Oakley Inc. in Dayton, Nv. before retiring in 2006.
Jack served in the Army from 1955 to 1958. Two years being spent in Korea (1956-1958).
Jack is survived by his wife, Helen (Archambault) of 54 years; two sons, Timothy of Reno, Nv. and Daniel (wife, Teresa) of Columbus, Ga.; one granddaughter, Alyssa of Oxnard, Ca.; two brothers, Hugh (wife, Nancy) of Amherst, N.H. and Leo Smith of St. Petersburg, Fl. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
