Clifford W. Nelson, a former resident of Carson City, “Slipped the surly bonds of earth” on April 19, 2013.
Cliff was a teacher in the Carson School District, a member of the Elks and the Eagles, and an avid golfer.
He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Liz; and two sons, Jeremiah of Lake Tahoe, Ca., Stephen (Lolo) of McCall, Id.; and one daughter, Roxanne Peterschmidt (David) of Denver, Co.; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He is also survived by one sister, Jeanne Garrett of Boise, Id., and countless nieces and nephews.
He will be forever remembered with affection by his family, and a host of friends.
There will be a memorial service later in Carson City, Nevada.
