William Jack “Bill” Brinkley, age 85, passed away on April 26, 2013 in Fallon, Nevada.
He was born September 8, 1927 in Maysville, OK to Louis and Irene Clarey Brinkley and had lived in Fallon for 19 years, coming from Jackson, CA.
Bill worked for many years for P G & E as a troubleshooter. He was a life member of the VFW Post 1002 in Fallon. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping; making his own lead ammunition and fishing sinkers; was an avid pool player and San Francisco Giants fan.
Bill is survived by his wife, Linda; son, Donald Wilson; daughters, Wanda Wilson, Ronda Brown and Terri Brinkley, all of Fallon; son, Charles “Chuck” Wilson of Santa Rosa; daughters, Lynda Wark, Paula Magna, and Debra Sparks all of the Sacramento area; 14 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Mike Brinkley and grandson, Jeremy Sparks.
Per his wishes, no services will be held at this time. The family will have a celebration of life at a later date.
