Obituary: Elizabeth Jane Eveatt Enoch

Aug. 21, 1923 - May 5, 2013

Elizabeth Jane Enoch 89 passed away on May 5, 2013 in Fallon, Nevada. She was born August 21, 1923 at the family farm in La Junta, Colorado to Dewey C. and Myrtle Hedges Eveatt. Elizabeth graduated from La Junta High School in 1941.

Elizabeth married the love of her life Stanley Enoch in 1945. After marriage Elizabeth and Stanley moved to Central California (bay area) where they had many great adventures. Elizabeth moved to Logandale, Nevada with her brother, Leonard in 1994 and to Fallon in 2001. Elizabeth was an amazing woman who dedicated her life to God and family. She had a great network of friends and family who always enriched her life. Over the years Elizabeth was a part of the International Order of the Rainbow Girls, wife of a respected Mason Lodge Officer. Elizabeth was a life- long member of the United Methodist Church and a leader and member in the Methodist Women’s Society.

Elizabeth is preceded in death by her parents, Dewey C. & Myrtle; her loving husband, Stanley; daughter, Sharon; brothers, Larry, Leonard and sister, Ireatha Jean (Mike Samuelson). Elizabeth is survived by her siblings, Lloyd (Maxine-D), Donald (Dona), Mary Lou (Jerry Spangle), Richard (Sid), Harry (Carol), Eugene (Rona) along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Elizabeth’s sunny disposition, amazing life stories and positive attitude will be greatly missed by family and friends. Elizabeth will be buried with a private graveside service at Chapel of the Chimes in Hayward, California. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date in Fallon, NV. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Elizabeth’s name to the Methodist Women’s Society.
