Robert was an honorably discharged Marine. He lived a varied and colorful life but inevitably returned over and over to his beloved mining for gold with many of his years at the mine near Fallon, Nevada. He became known to many of his family and friends as “Gold Dust Bob.” He was certainly a character who will be missed by his family and friends.
