Colorado Springs slips past Aces

RENO —Tyler Skaggs dealt a quality start on Thursday night, but the Aces fell 4-2 to the Colorado Springs Sky Sox at Aces Ballpark. Skaggs and Sky Sox Drew Pomeranz each faced the minimum through the first three innings of the contest. DJ LeMahieu singled with one out for Colorado Springs in the top of the fourth to register the first hit of the game. LeMahieu scored on a triple from Corey Dickerson, who advanced home on an error by shortstop Chris Owings. The Sky Sox extended their lead to 3-0 in the top of the seventh on a sacrifice …
