Kipling, Showalter lead CHS boys

Fifteen Carson High swimmers have moved on to the NIAA Division I regional swimming finals today at the Carson Aquatic Center. Swimming gets under way at 11 a.m. today. The top three finishers in each event qualify for the state championships May 18, also at the Carson Aquatic Center. On the boys side, Dagen Kipling qualified third in both the 200 IM (2:10.09) and the 500 free (5:15.15), while Gary Showalter was second in the 100 back (1:06.21) and sixth in the 50 free (53.78).
