Former Fallon cowgirls fall short at nationals

Fallon’s lone college seniors competing in the national rodeo couldn’t make the cut for finals last week in Wyoming. Olie Fowler missed the top 12 in goat tying while Bailey Corkill fell short in team roping at the College National Finals Rodeo in Casper, Wyo., last week. Both cowgirls, who competed with Fallon in high school, ended their four-year careers with UNLV as two of the school’s most consistent competitors.
