Fallon tennis teams fall short vs. Wolverines

Both the Greenwave tennis teams improved on their opening-season loss to South Tahoe on Thursday against Truckee.

Fallon's girls' team lost to the Wolverines, 11-7, while the boys lost, 12-6.

Jamie Bekiares won two of her three matches — 6-1 and 6-0 — and Ashby Trotter won one match, 6-3. The doubles team of Brynlee Shults and Brooklyn Whitaker won all three matches — 6-2, 6-1 and 6-3. Nicole Klein and Selene Montes each lost their matches as Fallon forfeited three doubles matches.

Thomas Jamieson won two of three matches — 6-0 and 6-1 — to lead the boys and Alex Perazzo won once, 6-1, while Trent Nuckolls went winless in three matches. In doubles, Myles Getto and Blake Malcovich won two of three — 6-2 and 6-1 — while Nathaniel Klein and Ben Jamieson won 6-2. Josh Mikulak and Compton Lords lost their three matches.
