RENO — Bryce Moyle, Jace Keema and Cody Azevedo each collected four hits to lead the Carson Blue Jays to an easy 14-3 win over the McQueen Royals in a summer baseball game Thursday night.
Moyle went 4-for-4 with two runs and three RBI, Keema went 4-for-5 with a run and two RBI and Azevedo went 4-for-4 with two runs and two RBI.
Ryan Pope and Seamus Burns chipped in with two hits apiece, as the Blue Jays exploded for a season-best 19 hits.
Each team scored twice in the first inning, and Carson added one in the fourth, four in the fifth, one in the sixth and four in the seventh.
Brandon Allen picked up the win, allowing only one earned run and striking out five in six innings of work. John Holton worked a scoreless seventh for Carson.
Carson, 4-3, returns to action today at 5 with a home game against the Galena Black Sox.
The Blue Jays lost to the Black Sox, 8-7, on Wednesday night.
