Fallon softball rolls past Dayton

The Fallon softball team blew past Dayton in a doubleheader on Thursday at the Ed Arciniega Complex. The Lady Wave came out on top, 11-0 and 18-0, and have now won eight straight games. Fallon will compete today and Saturday in the Reed tournament. The Lady Wave bested Dust Devils fireballer Makayla Shadle in game one. Shadle recorded 11 strikeouts, but allowed 11 runs — 10 unearned — in the loss. She held Fallon to three hits. Shadle also tallied a pair of singles, Dayton’s defense struggled as the Dust Devils committed 11 errors. Miranda Ford, meanwhile, allowed two hits …
