Bighorns lacrosse continue winning ways

The Oasis Academy Bighorns lacrosse team remained undefeated on the season with an 8-4 win over the Truckee Tribe on Saturday. Midfielder Mason Wagner led Oasis with a pair of timely goals in the fourth quarter to help the Bighorns pull away. Goalkeeper Conor Keitz held Truckee to one goal for the first half of the game, and Kaden Stone made several key saves in the second half to seal the win.

Attackman Walter Rooks scored another goal, as did midfielder Morgan McAlexander. Midfielder Trent Thorn was dominant as he netted a hat trick.

The Bighorns next game is at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Churchill County Regional Fields against the Northwest Reno Outlaws.
