Carson, Tigers battle to scoreless draw

Still alone at the top. Carson High’s girls soccer team remained in first place in the Sierra League after battling rival Douglas to a scoreless draw Tuesday night. The tie leaves Carson at 7-0-1, while Douglas drops to 6-0-2. The rematch comes in the last regular-season match of the season in late October. “The first 10 minutes we were amped up,” Carson coach Greg Lehman said. “The girls have been waiting for this game.
