Sheriffs blotter

The following arrests were made by the Carson City Sheriff's Office:

-- A 37-year-old laborer from Carson City was taken into civil protective custody at 10:10 p.m. Sunday in the 200 block of Jeanell Drive. He was held until sober.

-- A 34-year-old laborer from Carson City was arrested at 11:30 p.m. Sunday in the 1900 block of North Carson Street for suspicion of the following misdemeanors: arrest of probationer, child endangerment, domestic battery and obstructing a peace officer. No bail was set.

-- Wymon Sears, 36, a carpenter from Carson City, was arrested in the 200 block of Pine Street at 2 a.m. Monday for suspicion of felony third offense domestic violence. His bail was set at $10,000. According to police reports, Sears allegedly battered his nephew.

-- A 40-year-old unemployed man from Carson City was arrested at 2:40 a.m. Monday in the 2800 block of Menlo Drive for suspicion of misdemeanor ex-felon failure to change address and domestic violence. His bail was set at $3,315.

-- A 39-year-old sausage maker from Carson City was arrested at 11:55 p.m. on Highway 50 East by Nevada Highway Patrol for suspicion of the following misdemeanors: second offense drunken driving and failure to drive on right side of road. His bail was set at $2,660.

-- A 38-year-old information administrator was arrested at 6:50 p.m. in the 2700 block of Modoc Court on Sunday for suspicion of the following misdemeanors: criminal contempt, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a hypodermic device. His bail was set at $3,210.

-- A 35-year-old unemployed transient was arrested at 8:31 p.m. Sunday in the 1700 block of North Carson Street for suspicion of misdemeanor domestic violence. Her bail was set at $3,105.

-- Joseph Arthur Calloway, 18, unemployed painter from Carson City, was arrested in the 3100 block of Bunch Way at 9:20 p.m. Sunday for suspicion of misdemeanor domestic violence, false imprisonment and threats. his bail was set at $6,210.

-- Kathleen Jean Pineda, 38, unemployed from Carson City, was arrested at 11:21 p.m. on Kit Sierra Drive for suspicion of gross misdemeanor child neglect and trespassing. Her bail was set at $2,710.
