Appeal wants readers to share holiday memories

Will you share your holiday memories with Nevada Appeal readers?

Glistening snow, a fire in the hearth, friends and family gathered around the tree - they are familiar sights to many families.

But each of us has a special memory, too, of a holiday that was one of a kind. Some holiday memories are sad; some are funny. These deserve to be shared.

The Nevada Appeal is asking you to write about your favorite holiday memory and send it in no later than Dec. 8.

We will publish several of the stories in the days before Christmas. Stories should be true, typed if possible and no longer than 500 words. Include a name and phone number.
