For bear enthusiasts this Christmas the BEAR League is selling a 2000 Ornament featuring a bear paw print with a small red enameled heart hand painted in the center.
The limited edition ornament is available on lodgepole pine for $5 or on Big Tree wood for $7. All proceeds benefit the educational programs of the BEAR League and the bear rehabilitation program through Lake Tahoe Wildlife Care.
The BEAR League is a non-profit organization that supports and promotes education in the community such that humans, bears and other wildlife may co-exist in harmony. Proceeds from donations, memberships and fund raising efforts support programs in schools and communities, literature, the 525-PAWS hotline service, aversion programs and other projects.
The BEAR League 2000 Ornament may be purchased at Tahoe Tree Company and Cabin Fever in Tahoe City, and Homewood Hardware in Homewood.
