DIVISION 5 BOYS AYSO SOCCER
Gold Runners 8, Dragons 0
The Gold Runners were off to a running start in their first game on August 29. The team provided many exciting moments on offense with Blake Moreland leading the way with four goals and two assists. John Nuthall added three goals and two assists and Matt Nuthall completed the scoring with a goal.
Defensively, the Gold Runners held a strong charging Dragons team scoreless with sterling defense turned in by Tyler McCarthy and Garrett Merriwether. The Gold Runners are 1-0 on the season.
