Carson chamber to host panel on education tax proposal

The Nevada State Education Association has proposed a new tax on Nevada businesses and consumers for their own special interests.

On Wednesday, Sept. 27, the Carson City Area Chamber of Commerce will host a taxation information panel luncheon. Panelists Mark Amodei, Nevada State Senator; Terry Campbell, Executive Director of the Nevada Policy Research Institute and Carole Vilardo, Executive Director of the Nevada Taxpayers Association will inform you what this tax is and who will pay it, how the tax will affect our state's economy, if and how this tax improves education and what you can do to prevent this income tax.

Make your reservations now to attend this presentation at the Carson Nugget Convention Center. Registration will begin at noon, lunch will follow at 12:15 p.m. and the panel presentation/discussion will begin at 12:30 p.m. Cost is $20 per person.
