Carson Wolf Pack Pop Warner opens season with 34-0 win

The Carson Wolf Pack Pop Warner football team opened its season with an impressive 34-0 win over the Fallon Green Wave.


Aaron Holmes began the scoring with a 29-yard run. Kyle Bacon hit Jake Rasner with a rollout pass for the extra point.


Later in the first quarter, Holmes scored on a 30-yard run, then ran for the extra point. In the second quarter, Holmes capped off another long drive with a 1-yard run and ran it in for the extra point.


Austin Watson followed with a 1-yard run and Bacon hit Brian Welch for the extra point to finish the scoring in the first half. In the third quarter, Watson scored from 30 yards out to finish the scoring.


Watson finished with 124 yards on 10 carries and three touchdowns. Micah Withcome added 39 yards on six carries.


Led by the offensive line of Shane Maddox, Corde Armstrong, Jason Dittenber, Kenny Binder, Dallas Miller, Pete Morris and Jake Rasner, the Wolf Pack rushed for 246 yards.


Zach Tersteege, Luke Cunningham, Smooth Allen, Brian Fontes, Brian Welch, Jesse Rasner, Mario Quevedo, Caleb Simon and Cody Albee led the defense, which allowed just 25 total yards.
